In order to continue its growth in North Carolina, First Bank & Trust Company added full-service facilities in Lillington, North Carolina, hired top agriculture lending experts in the area, and expanded the mortgage lending team in Red Oak, North Carolina.
The Lillington, North Carolina, branch of First Bank & Trust Company, which opened as a loan production office in late 2021, is the bank’s third in the state and its 26th full-service site overall in Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. First Bank & Trust Company now has a total of 34 sites after adding eight more loan production offices.
Trevor Smith joined Nelson Powell, Jay Smith, and Gloria Turner in the Lillington market, which serves the counties of Harnett, Johnston, Cumberland, Lee, Duplin, Sampson, Wake, and Greene, in May 2022. Powell and Smith both started out at the bank as officials in charge of farm and commercial financing. Turner manages relationships while providing the team with thorough financial analysis and portfolio management.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the Lillington branch on November 30 to honor the bank’s ongoing expansion.
