The first makeup storage container constructed from recycled ocean-bound plastic has been introduced by OSHEN. The OSHEN Makeup Case is made of 32% recycled ocean-bound plastic and is made with components from Oceanworks, the industry leader in responsible plastic. The OSHEN Makeup Case is the ideal present for those who love makeup since it combines design, usability, and sustainability.
The case is small enough to hide beneath a countertop yet attractive enough to leave on top. It contains a stand-up brush portion, is simple to clean, and holds up to 200 pieces of makeup or equipment.
“As a beauty lover, I wanted to create a makeup case that proves sustainable products can be beautifully designed and highly functional,” said Tonia Krauser, Founder. “Using more sustainable materials costs a little more and takes more time, but it’s the right thing to do. And the end result is a gorgeous product that we feel good about.”
A female-founded eco-friendly lifestyle company, OSHEN makes sustainable storage items from used ocean-bound plastic materials. The company’s initial item, the OSHEN Makeup Container, is a makeup storage case constructed from previously used plastic that was destined for the ocean. The goal of OSHEN is to make houses and oceans cleaner.
